Abstract
Based on the method of FDTD, in this paper numerical results for resonance frequency of micro-cavity constructed by a point defect were as expected with those experimental values. An equivalent cylindrical resonator was given for two-dimensional magneto-photonic crystal with point defect. Through calculating the minimum combination of eigen-modes of cylindrical resonator, good agreement between numerical result of insertion loss and isolation of the circulator with those simulation calculations was observed.
