Abstract :
This paper presents the balanced three-transducer SAW filters using tapered IDTs on YZ LiNbO3 with impedance conversion as 1:2.6 from the input to output in a wide fractional bandwidth of 6-28%. The filters have shown an insertion loss of 4-6 dB, passband ripple of 0.5-2 dB, shape factor of 1.3-2.5, stopband attenuation of 20-35 dB in a center frequency of 35 MHz. Matching the filters with the loads was provided by LC-elements. Withdrawal weighting is used in order to improve the filter selectivity.
