Abstract :
We are in procedure to develop the optical frequency standard using the 43Ca+ S-D transition, whose frequency uncertainty is mainly determined by the quadratic Zeeman shift and the electric quadrupole shift. This paper gives a proposal to eliminate these both frequency shifts without changing the magnetic field direction.
