            Abstract :
This paper attempts to give an overview of the excitation network of ultra-wideband (UWB) technology by covering aspects such as theory, challenges, designing steps, characteristics and performance. Proposed novel ultra-wideband hybrid based on stripline technology cover frequency range for use in ultra-wideband systems according ETSI standards 6-8.5 GHz. Proposed solution can be easily implemented together with printed UWB two-element monopole radiators on the same laminates. Provided analysis considers EMC problems related to transmission of short duration impulses.
