Abstract
Many mainly chronic healthcare conditions affect human mobility and locomotion. Measurement and observation of this kind of capabilities can be impacted by subjective feelings of the clinicians. In the end, the results obtained may become inaccurate and inconsistent. This paper shows how information technology based on 3D human body motion tracking detection capability can help to provide a better and more appropriate assessment method. Moreover, the measurement results can be directly stored into the database system for future comparisons with new measurement data. In this way the clinician can easily document and observe how the treatment affects the patient as well as the progression of patient´s recovery.
