Abstract :
Environmentally-friendly economy brings huge development opportunity to electric vehicles(EVs). EVs have potential to enhance the functionalities of the power grid. Using EVs, lets us feed power from the vehicle´s battery packs back to the grid or to pull power from the grid to recharge the batteries. EVs make social welfare improvement by reducing the customer costs. Important point in using a vehicle to grid (V2G) is to evaluate the behavior of the plug-in hybrid electric vehicle( PHEV) owners and estimate their acceptance facing the demand side managements programs(DSM) by emphasis on demand response programs(DRPs). In other words, awareness of PHEV owners´ acceptance to different DRPs, brings the opportunity to optimize and implement the best scenario to improve the load profile. In this paper, at first we introduce four most effective factors in the behavior of PHEV owners. After modeling the behavior of PHEV owners based on this four factors, we evaluate the effect of tariff based DRPs (TBPs) on their behavior employing five scenarios.
