Abstract :
Doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) is one of the best choices in wind turbine generator. Nowadays control of DFIG is done in different strategy and this paper discusses the decoupled FOC control with MRAS observer for wind turbine generator and compares with open loop estimator strategy. The proposed sensorless algorithm obtained required information by measuring stator voltage, stator and rotor currents. This strategy is applicable in whole wind speed range and simulation results in MATLAB/SIMULINK verify the effect of this method on DFIG control.
