Abstract :
In this study, analyzing of wind data at 10 m and 40 m heights carried out to determine the potential of wind in order to assess the feasibility of installing wind turbines in south of Khuzestan province in Iran. Extrapolation of the 10 m and 40 m data, using the power law, has been used to determine the wind speed at height of 80 m. it is found that the studied site has good potential for using wind energy at height of 80 m.
