  • Abstract
Having electricity with high quality is one of the more important aims in electrical systems. Disturbances in distribution systems can change voltage waveform. There are some methods to prepare high power quality for sensitive loads. In this research, we use “Dynamic Voltage Restorer” to compensate the harmful effects of disturbances on voltage. In this paper a fairly novel adaptive method which is based on deciding on the basis of emotions is introduced. This adaptive method which is inspired by human brain learning nature, has been used as self-tuning PI controller. In order to show and investigate the efficiency of proposed algorithm, the results obtained from performance of the proposed controller, has been compared by those of conventional PI controller.
