Abstract
In this paper, a set of control strategy combined with the structural characteristics was researched for efficient and reliable operation of a novel hybrid powertrain assembled in a SUV. This paper presented the control method to the engine, the two motors and related accessories to improve the fuel economy and dynamic property. The test results indicate that the control system is reliable and feasible. The researched hybrid electric vehicle process good dynamic, excellent fuel economy and acceptable comfortableness.
