Abstract :
Magnetic Nanoparticles: From Fabrication to Clinical Applications fills a gap in scientific knowledge about MNPs\´ role in cutting edge biomedical applications in addition to different fabrication techniques. The book comes in hardcover and is printed on glossy paper with color figures. The editor did an excellent job in compiling a collection of interesting and complementary topics written by qualified experts who cover the subject from different perspectives in a well-organized and comprehensive fashion. The book has a foreword by Prof. Mostafa A. El-Sayed, a world expert in nanoparticles from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta. The book is divided into five parts: "Introduction", "Fabrication and Characterization of MNPs", "Biofunctionalization of MNPs for Biomedical Applications", "Ex Vivo Applications of MNPs", and "In Vivo Applications of MNPs".
