Abstract
In the research of fire detection, aiming at flame segmentation, traditional method usually produces serious yawp. In order to solve this problem, the article imports multi images´ edge difference as segmentation base. It also defines a new connecting distance which can accurately denote the connecting distance by changing angle. This method can be extended to two expressions that one is based on edge distance and the other is on edge direction through adjusting parameters. The arithmetic is good at yawp removing and suit for dynamic segmentation on simple background image.
