Abstract
This paper presents an shunt active power filter control method which based on predictive control with enhanced repetitive control. This novel control method is introduced to eliminate the burrs which caused by sampling delay and calculations in digital controller. A feedback adjustment by repetitive control is also introduced to this control scheme which is based on predictive control. Through the analysis of active power filter compensate character, the internal model of harmonic currents can be easily generated by repetitive control and the fast response of current tracing can be accomplished by predictive control. Analysis shows that control scheme is very useful for shunt APF especially when harmonic current changes quickly. Simulation results show that this new control method outperforms satisfactory performance in harmonic and reactive power compensation than traditional PI controller.
