Abstract :
This paper describes a method to assess process performance in software development organizations by using alternative techniques to the questionnaires, which are actually using as a main technique to assess the software process performance. The process assessment is important because if it is performing in a right way; it allows organizations to identify improvement opportunities and to address the improvement effort toward those software processes that need to be improved in order to achieve business goals established by senior management. Therefore, organizations could create strategic advantages with respect to its competitors and to ensure their marked continued.
