Abstract
In order to solve shortage problem of frequency resource, high-speed high-efficiency Continue Phase-Extended Binary Phase Shift Keying (CP-EBPSK) modulation has been paid attention widely. Unfortunately, its power spectra include high line spectra and high envelope in frequency-doubled of continuous spectrum, which seriously affects the size of the bandwidth. Therefore, this paper proposes improved CP-EBPSK modulation scheme based on random modulation and removing frequency-doubled component firstly, and then the power spectra and BER (Bit error rate) are analyzed and simulated. The results illustrate that the proposed system not only has ultra narrow bandwidth and very high efficiency, but only BER performance has about 3dB improvement, simultaneously, comprehensive index is much better than the old CP-EBPSK system, which provides a simple and feasible scheme for the implement of high-efficiency transmission system with Ultra Narrow Bandwidth (UNB).
