Abstract :
In recent years, mashup and composition technologies have been developed to integrate data and services from different sources. The mobile widget running on mobile platform has emerged as a new type of web application. It is a challenge to composite mobile widgets in mobile devices, due to lack of the way of interaction between mobile widgets. This paper presents an end-user oriented mobile widget composition framework, in which, two description languages were proposed to describe the service mobile widgets and the process of composition. The service widgets participated in the composition as components in the source code form. An approach of mobile widget interaction based on event mechanism was designed. Finally, the proposed framework was put into practice as prototype tool, which also verified the framework.
