Abstract
Healthcare and hospital are the most complex service systems because healthcare records are distributed in various locations. The huge of data is used in the hospital for patients´ treatment, which consume a lot of communication bandwidth. The dynamics circuit network (DCN) is one of the Future Internet applications that support the dedicated bandwidth network. However, this approach needs the specific devices for supporting the dedicated resources and there is complexity for maintenance. Currently, the Content-Centric network (CCN) is developed for Future Internet networking that establishes the communication by the means of the content instead of the location, which is more benefit than the previous model such as reduces the congestion and latency. This paper proposed the proof of concept in design a model of the Medical network using the Content-Centric Network approach and evaluates a transmission time using the developed prototype implementation compare with the file transfer protocol. The experimental results represent the CCN network performance is outstanding when compare with the FTP protocol in case of concurrent data usage.
