Abstract
Taiwan Strait and neighbor sea areas are the important sea area that joins the South China Sea and East China Sea of China, and its topographic change is obvious. The ocean current of that sea area has great influence on the sea disaster, so it is of great importance to implement ocean current numerical simulation. As the ocean current information is changing all the time, the real-time information service and scientific visualization is a complex problem. The parallel computation technology can improve the computation efficiency of the ocean current numerical simulation. In this paper, the parallel computation ocean current 3-D numerical simulation technology, the WebGIS based information sharing on web, the Geographical Information Systems (GIS) information presentation and shipwreck development forecasting are studied to implement shipwreck salvation of Taiwan Strait.
