  • Abstract
E-learning without the constraints of time and space provide a flexible education environment. However, it leads the students to procrastinate in using the system. The purpose of this work is to find the factors that affect student´s procrastination in the e-learning system. The questionnaire survey is used to investigate students´ motivations, self-efficacy, and procrastination tendency. Also, the perceived usefulness, perceived ease of usage, attitude and intention to use the-learning system are investigated. Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) is employed to analyze the investigated factors. The results show the extrinsic motivations, amotivation, and perceived usefulness of an e-learning system increase the procrastination tendency. However, the self-efficacy and perceived ease of usage do not increase the procrastination tendency. Besides, the task value and intrinsic motivations do not have significant effects to the students´ procrastination tendency.
