Abstract :
Modern control theory is one of the basic professional courses for the senior undergraduates, such as automation, electrical engineering and automation specialties. It has the characteristics of higher theoretical definition and abstraction, bigger calculated amount, having a degree of depth and complexity, and asking the students have well-knit mathematical foundation. Due to the simulation technology aided course teaching can make the study more interesting and challenging. By introducing MATLAB simulation software, combine with the teaching examples to dealt with the important problems in modern control theory course. Such as system model construction, stability, controllability and observability analysis and so on. The practices illustrate that the abstract problem solving process is simplified and visualized, the course teaching rate is advanced, and the teaching effects is much more satisfied.
