  • Abstract
    The peak detection method is the conventional way to design a giant magneto-impedance (GMI) magnetic sensor. However, it is difficult to extract the actual signal from the raw data outputted from the GMI probe when the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of the raw data is less than 0dB. Therefore, a novel design of GMI magnetic sensor and a hybrid analysis method of wavelet transform in combination with correlation analysis are proposed in this paper which are proved effective and able to process the raw data whose SNR is even -15dB.
