Abstract :
The performance of storage system is vital to the storage system itself and the application of storage systems. I/O performance is one of the most important performance indexes for applications based on the distributed storage system. Because I/O performance has already become the bottleneck of the whole performance of distributed systems for a long time, I/O performance analysis and optimization method looks especially important and valuable. In the paper, I/O performance model, I/O performance index architecture and a set of the performance analysis method is presented, which may be used to evaluate distributed storage performance, and support the schedule of the storage application task.
