Abstract :
Current approaches to organizing units in fps game or real-time strategy games are typically implemented via static formations. Static formations are not capable of adapting effectively to opponent tactics. In this paper we discuss an approach to organizing units based on multi-leader, and when faced with complex terrain, the formation can separate and then reassembled. This approach to establish so-called a separable formation system based on multi-leader, is tested in the UDK game environment. From our results, we may conclude that the approach to established formations can be successfully applied in actual game environments.
