Abstract :
The knowledge innovation is an eternal theme and the driving force of university growth. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the characteristic, the forming condition and evolving mechanism of self-organization of university knowledge innovation system. First, this paper has analyzed the system´s self-organizing characteristic by using self-organization theory and reached a conclusion that it must meet four requirements with being opening, far away from equilibrium state, existing fluctuations and the nonlinear interactions among all elements within the System in order to realize knowledge innovation. Then this paper has revealed the formation and evolution law of the self-organization of knowledge innovation system. The innovation points of the paper consist in based on discussing the self-organizational characteristic of knowledge innovation, having explored the self-organizational structure of knowledge innovation and established the self-organizing mechanism and evolutionary model of university knowledge innovation system in order to upgrade the university knowledge innovation competence.
