Abstract :
The calculating method of the field of view of celestial bodies has been a complicated problem in the research of astronavigation automation. To build a star database which should be an accurate and applicable to the rapid inquires at first. The sao star catalogue has been processed by 2-D delaunay triangulation, putting its area ratio which is the unique result in the star database. Then doing the delaunay triangulation for stars which accord with convention magnitude in the field of view, Using the results for quickly matching recognition. The results of simulation experiments prove that the algorithm bears very high identification rate, real time and robustness, compared with the current Star Atlas Identification Algorithm. The capacity of needed navigation star database is small and it´s fast to search speed. We can locate and position in the processed star database by using the unique triangle area ration. This method is significantly valuable for navigation precision and the automation of celestial navigation.
