Abstract :
We investigated the continuous wave degenerated FWM characteristic of SMF28 and PCF and measured the efficiency of the newly created frequency with respect to wavelength difference between pump and signal waves, and the FWM conversion polarization dependence on pump and signal light. The dispersion, dispersion slope and nonlinear coefficient of the fiber were determined.
