Abstract :
This paper addresses time synchronization and flow aggregation in Low-rate Distributed Denial of Service (LDDoS) attack, which is formed by a number of well-organized LDoS attack. A cross-correlation algorithm is proposed to ensure that each distributed attack pulse is aggregated and synchronous accurately to form a powerful pulse at the victim end. Simulation results show that the LDDoS attack effects can be improved significantly by using cross-correlation algorithm to coordinate attack pulses.
