Abstract :
The development of transport volume is influenced by many aspects, it is very difficult to forecast transport volume accurately and validly using only one forecasting method. This paper analyzes the variable combination forecast model´s application on prediction of transport volume. And freight volume of target years has been forecasted using this model based on the total highway freight volume and society economics of one province. The data of forecasting model was carried out to contrast the characteristics of the actual happen in data. The results show that the method is more accurate in highway freight prediction.
