Abstract :
Coal transportation from Xinjiang to the inland china is a strategic project to ensure Chinese energy safety. As the most important tache of coal logistics, the logistics centers play a very important role, and the operational processes in these centers must be designed and optimized thoroughly. In this paper, various kinds of factors of nature, society, economy, and traffic, etc. of three selected locations are analyzed, and each functional orientation is determined abreast to their own characteristics. And by the different orientation, the detailed processes of each coal logistics center are designed and optimized, which are the foundation of scientific planning and construction of railway coal logistics centers.
