Abstract :
We briefly introduced the main content of the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), proposed a design of the SIP protocol stack based on Android. Combined with the characteristics of embedded system, we designed the software framework and the hierarchy of the SIP protocol stack, then introduce the function of each layers. Implemented using the java language, and tested in asterisk environment, it can successfully register to the server and display the call handling capacity.
