Abstract :
Road traffic safety has been widespreadly concerned in recent years. Beijing and Tianjin are two municipalities in North China. Road congestion and road traffic safety in Beijing and Tianjin have become increasingly prominent. This paper takes traffic accident in two cities as the study objects and makes a comparison of macro prediction for traffic accident in Beijing and Tianjin. Based on the viewpoints of grey system theory, traffic accident is a grey dynamic system. So this paper will use grey system theory and set up the macro prediction model GM(1,1).This comparison study provides good insights for traffic accident macro prediction in metropolis.
