Abstract
With the application of Phasor Measurement Units (PMU) in Smart Grid, the accuracy and efficiency of distributed state estimation has been greatly improved. Thus, the information security of PMU measurement has a considerable impact on the operation of Smart Grid, especially in current situation when the control and communication of PMU are embedded in pervasive network system. In this paper, we propose a PMU-based state estimation schema with a novel decomposition method, and the issue of PMU related information security is addressed with the evaluation of error impact, the identification of PMU attack, and the corresponding recovery solutions.
