Abstract :
Aimed at the applied limitations of traditional Spare Power Automatic Switchover inside of substation using in chain-mode grid model,an new technology of Area Spare Power Automation Switchover was researched. The basic theory and process was discussed while the key points also proposed. Through demonstrated the cooperation with traditional Spare Power Automation Switchover, auto-reclosing, security automation device and Small Power Source etc, and considered a series of atresia conditions to insure the security of grid, it is fully convinced that the application of the Area Spare Power Automatic Switchover Technology in Smart Grid is necessary and feasible. At the same time, the action time of the Area Spare Power Automatic Switchover´s logic strategy were given both in the laboratory and substation different channel environments. While analyzing the potential risks of the Area Spare Power Automatic Switchover, the reasonable improvement measures in the current grid communication technology conditions were given.
