Abstract :
This article analyzes function requirements of a remote monitoring center for PV stations and designs system framework and functions for the monitoring center. The system framework applies multilayer-distributed structure; basic functions of the monitoring center system include monitoring and controlling of operating status of PV stations; advanced application functions include statistics and analysis of operating data, and overall evaluation of both technical and economical indices. Highly adaptive communication channels are designed and advanced communication protocols are applied. Data model based on IEC61850 is established which ensures the system with higher operability.
