Abstract :
Base on the principle of AC chopper, a new digital AC voltage regulating generator is designed by PIC16F716. The IGBT devices are used in the main AC chopper circuit, and the feasibility of circuit is analyzed by PSPICE software. The control circuit of PIC16F716 and drive circuit of IGBT are also described in paper. At last, the AC voltage regulating generator is developed and tested, from the testing results, it can be seen that the AC voltage regulating generator not only has excellent performance of input current and output voltage, but also can control according to the demand of user and loads smartly.
