Abstract :
Preliminary results are described about the construction and test-operation of our apparatus, which has aims to inject various kinds of intense pulsed ion beams into medium pressure targets of neutral gases or plasmas, and to measure various cross sections for charge exchange or multiple-ionization, for example. The purpose of the research is to gather the fundamental data for the ionic collision processes.
