Abstract :
Conventional solar power conversion systems utilize one stage architectures. This paper is devoted to the two stage approach, where a three level DC-DC converter is adopted to maximize the power transfer between the source and the load. Two 500kW DC-DC converters are developed as part of a 1MW utility scale system and principal results are provided to highlight achieved performance obtained from the experiment.
