Abstract :
In China, many people discussed hot issues on the internet, among which forums served as an important platform. This paper selected three popular Chinese forums, Qiangguo, Tianya and Kaidi to collect Internet users´ comments on Chinese PM2.5 governance. Based on which, Internet users´ attitude orientations are analyzed in terms of the evolving time and the corresponding tendency. The result shows: (1) Internet users´ attention appeared to be multi-peaked and such attention was closely correlative with key events; (2) the amount of negative remarks exceeded positive ones, though they gradually became positive; (3) the limited rational thinking tended to be drowned in a sea of emotional expression. Finally, this paper concludes by calling on the vigorous action of government, greater responsibility of the public and long-term commitment of whole society so as to control PM2.5 effectively.
