Abstract :
The design and the first testing of relativistic klystrons amplifier (RKA) with the efficiency of 40–50% for realization on intense electron beams with beam energy 400 keV are presented. Theoretical investigations of RKA have been made by 1D, 1.5D and 2.5D PIO codes. The self-field structure of relativistic electron bunch is numerically studies from these codes.
