Abstract :
Nowadays, Distributed Control Systems (DCS) are playing increasingly important roles in industrial process. Accordingly, the performance evaluation of DCS is attracting more and more attention. This paper focuses on the DCS real-time testing project in term of application. The test technique for the real-time performance of analog and digital signals, and the test technique for processing period of controllers and that for function test of SOE are individually proposed. Moreover, the test result of DCS in term of real-time performance will be presented. The proposed real-time test technique is especially useful for the site performance evaluation of DCS in industrial field.
