The construction of concept system in TCM syndrome ontology

At present, with rapidly development in the information technologies and intelligent methods t, it promotes the standardization and construction of industry in various sectors and fields of application. As empirical medicine, the theory of TCM lacks standardization and normalization. So the theory of TCM cannot state accurately and reason scientifically, and the services platform of TCM both for the general public and available to Chinese researchers studied cannot be established. This article analyses the basic theory of ontology, and make the hierarchy of concept and the definition of property, and discusses the method of TCM syndrome ontology building, creates the instance of TCM syndrome ontology.
