  • Abstract
    The factor of the helical electron beam (HEB) potential depression in the gyrotron cavity caused by the eigen beam space charge and its influence on the gyrotron parameters is discussed. The procedure of the experiment of defining the depression effect on REB parameters is given and the experimental set-up is described. The experimental results are compared with the calculated data.
