Education Committee Activities at the 2014 Antennas and Propagation Symposium [Education Column]

The Education Committee sponsored an exciting mix of student-focused events and programs at the Society´s annual Symposium in Memphis, Tennessee, USA, July 6??11, 2014. The Student Design Contest finalist demonstrations were held in the exhibit hall. Enthusiastic student competitors showcased their work on innovative antennas for RFID applications. The first prize went to a team from the Instituto de Telecomunica????es in Portugal, and second place was a tie between teams from the Indian Institute of Technology Kan pur in India, and Aalto University in Finland.
