Abstract :
3D affine measurement, 3D geometrical modeling and further 3D rendering of the scene are achieved through the uncalibrated single view perspective-projecting image of the scene under the minimum geometrical constraints. The minimum geometrical constraints contain the 3D vanishing points and also the corresponding 3D measured distances along XYZ directions. The camera internal calibration parameters and external calibration parameters between the camera coordinates system and the world coordinates system are not required. Firstly, the algorithm of proportional or full real 3D geometrical modeling and also the 3D rendering of the scene based on the uncalibrated single view perspective-projecting image of the scene are given; Secondly, the examples of 3D affine measurement, 3D geometrical modeling and 3D rendering of the real shot images are presented. The experimental results indicate the correctness and validity of the algorithm.
