Abstract :
Since nuclear power become one of the main energy sources in daily life, pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant has been widely utilized around the world. Meanwhile, as renewable energy, solar photovoltaic power and wind power have been regarded as important energy sources in the future. This paper proposes a numerical model based on the second law of thermodynamics to analyze the efficiency and the thermal emission of power generation system. Such model will be applied to analyze the man process of energy conversion in power generation system. It is proved that solar photovoltaic power and wind power are more environmentally friendly than nuclear power.
