Abstract :
The multiple scattering characteristic between the target and rough sea surface is the main source of scattering, the sea environment and target must all together be considered to study the electromagnetic scattering characteristics. According to the needs of composite theoretical model validation of ships, we select ship-like simple target as measured target and wavetank to produce a known, controlled sea surface, describe the measurement method of the composite backscattering RCS from the targets on a rough sea surface, and give some typical measurement results and analysis.
