Abstract
The co-channel interference becomes the main influence factor in the cellular network with the universal frequency reuse. In this paper, we investigate the downlink resource allocation for a cellular network with two-hop cooperative relay, considering the influence of the co-channel interference. We firstly study a randomized transmission scheme, where the transmitter in each cell sends data according to the certain probability. An optimization problem is formulated to calculate the transmitting probability for each cell in order to maximize the average network capacity. In order to reduce the amount of signalling overheads, a heuristic distributed method is proposed afterward. Numerical results are presented to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed randomized resource allocation methods.
