Abstract :
In this paper, a novel multilayer printed dipoles for UHF NF RFID reader is proposed. Four dipoles are placed along the edge of the square and the feeding sources of them have the same amplitude and phase. The magnetic field along the vertical axis provided by the dipoles is strong and uniform, and it is appropriate for the UHF NF RFID reader. The proposed antenna resonates at 842 MHz, and it can cover the China standard (840-845 MHz). The antenna can be fabricated on a multilayer PCB with low cost.
