Abstract :
An acousto-optic Q-switched pulse fiber laser was presented, and the output power of 20.1W was obtained by using the one-stage Ytterbium-doped double-cladding fiber amplification The repetition frequency of the pulse fiber laser was tunable in the range of 20-80 kHz. By adjusting the rise time of the acousto-optic modulator, we obtained the pulse output with pulse width of 58ns and peak power of 17.33kW, when the repetition frequency was 20kHz. The change of pulse width along with rise time of the modulator was measured. The effect of modulation signal duty ratio on output pulse properties was analyzed.
