Abstract :
The main goal of this paper to measure link quality for wireless sensor networks. In order to measure link quality, we use link quality indicator as radio hardware link quality metrics in IEEE 802.15.4 based on wireless sensor networks. Link quality measurement in an outdoor environment have been performed using low power wireless sensor nodes. Moreover, we performed several link quality tests with 6 nodes, placed in difference locations 10 m from base-station. Our experimental results showed that link quality indicator is good indicator of link quality between transmission sensor nodes and a base-station.
